If you fail to attend your appointment there will be a $50 no-show charge.
Appointments not confirmed 24 hours prior to appointment time will be cancelled.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment for registration.
Nuclear Cardiac Preparation:
- No caffeine for 24 hours prior to test. No coffee, tea (including decaffeinated, herbal or green) chocolate, cola or medications containing caffeine such as Tylenol #1,2,3 and Excedrin Migraine.
- Nothing to eat or drink 4 hours prior to study. If you are diabetic, you may have a light meal.
- Bring list of all prescription medications.
- Please consult your doctor regarding stopping medications prior to cardiac stressing: Beta Blockers(48 hrs) Erectile dysfunction(72 hours0 Calcium Channel Blockers(24 hours).
- Do NOT stop medication on your own.
- Bring or wear comfortable clothing and running shoes for the exercise stress test.
- Do NOT have any creams or lotions on your chest
Cardiac Imaging is a noninvasive test that provides valuable information on heart health and to assess cardiac anatomy. A physician may recommend cardiac imaging to support a diagnosis of a heart condition and provide effective treatments for a patient.
